Sarah Coponat
Young composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and virtuoso pianist bridging the gap between classical and film music, Sarah disrupts the norms of new-classical piano and electronic music.
In 2022, she gained attention on live-streaming platforms like Twitch, where she brought together thousands of listeners during improvisation concerts, and on Spotify, where she amassed over 35 million streams and her work was featured on the platform’s biggest piano playlists (Peaceful Piano, The Magnificent Piano…).
Swiftly, she toured worldwide, performing on large stages in Senegal, Berlin, Amsterdam, numerous theaters in France, at the Frames Festival, the Pop-corn festival in Montcuq, and even at the Marseille Dome in front of 8,000 people. Her work caught the attention of major media outlets and figures in France and abroad, including Rolling Stone Magazine, which organized a concert in their New York studios, as well as Brut, Konbini, MĂ©diapart, and La Lettre du Musicien. She collaborated with brands such as Sony, Roland, Audient, Redbull Music, and Linktree.
In 2024, she headlined the “Pianorizon” piano festival in Sanary-sur-mer.
Admired by her peers for the freedom and power of her performances, she was invited to perform in a private concert for Steinway & Sons in Paris and walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.
A prolific artist, Sarah has already released five solo piano albums (Contes Slaves, Martini Nights, Astronaut, Demons, Atlas).
Her next album, influenced by electronic elements, is set to be released in May 2024.
“Wow! Sarah is incredibly mesmerizing.” – Rolling Stone Magazine
“The tender style of Sarah Coponat’s piano playing has a distinctive feeling. It is emotional and moving. The piece itself seems to take on a life. I love that it gives me both profound relaxation but also stimulates my brain to want to read and write.” – EartotheGroundMusic
